Morning on the Thu Bon River
Description
Hoi An is about 40 km from Da Nang and situated on the Thu Bon River. It was a thriving port, providing trade with China and other countries through the East China Sea from the 16th to 18th centuries. The fishing town doesn’t have many bridges so travel is often by the river, which adds to its old world charm.
